Pasco
Scallop season for Pasco County runs from July 10 through August 18.This specific window covers state waters south of the Hernando-Pasco county line and north of the Anclote Key Lighthouse, including the Anclote

Pinellas
In Pinellas County, traditional bay scalloping is strictly prohibited in the majority of county waters. The legal scalloping zone dips only slightly into northern Pinellas.

Prohibited Areas: All other state waters south of the Anclote Key Lighthouse within Pinellas County are permanently closed to bay scalloping.

Key Regulations to Know: Bag Limits: You are allowed 2 gallons of whole scallops in the shell (or 1 pint of scallop meat) per person, with a maximum of 10 gallons of whole scallops (or ½ gallon of meat) per vessel. Requirements: You must have a Florida saltwater fishing license (unless you are on a chartered boat), and you are required to use a dive-down flag while snorkeling.
